The food was excellent as was the service. We asked to sit outside and liked the small backyard very much. Recommended!
Overall satisfied but too expensive...
We were a party of 5 having main course and dessert. We had 7 different people serve us which felt excessive, and confused service. Two of our party ordered the same dish, making clear they each wanted the dish and not one to share. They were told it would take 15-20 minutes which was fine. 15 minutes later only one dish arrived. We asked for the second dish and were told it would take the same amount of time, which again we agreed to. This time when it arrived it was completely cold. We complained and were told "these things happen sometimes" and that it was down to "poor communication", which I can't argue with - the poor communication was down to the lack of apology. Having said that, all food, when eventually served was lovely.

A wonderful experience. Aleó has a very efficient, professional, smart, knowledged and successful operation. Aleó is the first Greek restaurant outside of Greece where the quality of the ingredient and cooking was to the standard of what you can find in Greece. The team (both front and back of house) must be commended.
